i didn't actually expect much for this xmas, but somehow it turned into one of the best ones for presents ever. so some highlights: my brother loved his present; i got him the collector's dvd box set of indiana jones. i'm happy b/c i never know what to get him and i can never tell if my gifts actually get used or just sit on a bookshelf or something. but not this time, oh no!
my parents gave me a sweet little tv, it's real pretty but not as aerodynamic as amber's; if it were to fly through the air it prolly wouldn't get as far as hers. they also gave me a swiss army knife which is totally great because the wicked airport people took my old one.
...and other stuff was exchanged too...
i had dinner with the fam (grandma, aunt , two uncles, and cousins) today..and there must have been something in the food because i slept for like 4 hours right after we ate and i just woke up. it's like my body's saying: "shoo, i need all the energy to sort out all this crap you've just eaten, so the rest of you's going to sleep while i do that."
dinner was fun i guess. those things always last too long. although it was nice to see my cousins, kai in particular. my aunt gave me a small water-crystal dog. that makes 3 small water-crystal things she's given me in the last year. ah well, it's cute i guess. although i'm not f.o.b enough to hang it off my cellphone. heh
